The basis of our dairy nutrition balancing is the dynamic rumen model based on the Cornell Net Protein and Carbohydrate System.

The goal of the Midwest program is to maximize digestion at the rumen level because if the rumen works for you:

Forages are the most important part of the diet:

We give guidance on harvesting techniques to maximize rumen performance, feed out management and most importantly, how to reduce toxins in forages and grains to the greatest extent possible.

We give advice at harvest to promote the most efficient fermentation and intake of the forages by the cow.

Midwest produces a BEEF CALF CREEP FEED that is balanced to mimic the calf transitioning from nursing to grazing on grass.
